Grab your leash and get a wiggle on to Muddy Paws Wine Festival
On the weekend of July 11 & 12, 2020, Vineland Estates Winery and Featherstone Estate Winery will open their doors to well-behaved dogs on leash who wish to accompany their owners.
There will be a canine theme to the weekend, with special events at each winery and a portion of wine sales will support The Bello Project / Home Hospice. This association provides care and compassion for the pets of the terminally ill.
Your Designated Driver transportation services will provide DD services from both wineries. We highly recommended booking ahead with them. Call 289.929.0701 or visit their website for more information about their services and fees.
There is no shuttle service between the wineries
Between the wineries it is a lovely 20 minute hike through the woods on the Bruce Trail. The trail is clearly marked but appropriate footwear is essential. (i.e. you should have support for your ankles- it’s a wilderness trail, not a paved one). We do not recommend the trail for wheelchairs, baby strollers and those with mobility issues.
Outside food and beverages are not permitted!
Last year tickets sold out before the event. If any tickets are left, they will be available on the day of the event to walk-in customers for $25.00 (incl tax.) Please pay with cash, where possible.

Find out about The Bello Project
The Muddy Paws Wine Festival is proud to support The Bello Project and a portion of sales from the weekend will go towards supporting their mission.
As a division of Home Hospice Association, The Bello Project journeys with a pet along the path of their loved one’s life-limiting illness. This maintains the unshakeable bond between pet and pet-owner until death occurs. Why is this important? If the pet can see the changes in their owner they will be more accepting of the death. Keeping this companionship together maintains a source of unconditional love they both need. The Bello Project also ensures that at the appropriate time, a person’s pet is rehomed into a safe and loving environment for the rest of their lives.
Amazing food with our go-to guys
Come. Sit. Eat! We’re thrilled that Chefs Patrick Engel and Mike McColl are back again. All weekend their team will be slaving away over a hot charcoal grill. You can choose from Thai Beef Salad – a flavourful bowl of noodles, fresh mixed greens, veggies & sprouts, with a tasty ginger dressing; and Mediterranean Salad Bowl with rice, grilled & marinated chicken, tomatoes, cuc’s, lots of fresh basil and oregano with a little chick pea salad on the side. Pavlov himself would be salivating at the thought. (Vegetarian options of both of these are available). Food tickets ($10.00 each incl. tax) and wine tickets are valid only at the winery where purchased.
Live Music : MGM Jazz Trio
Everybody loves the MGM Jazz Trio, so we’ve invited them back. They will be keeping your toes tapping to the groove of your favourite Jazz tunes.
Fresh Baked Artisanal Dog Treats
Featherstone will be firing up their wood-burning pizza oven and baking fresh complimentary Pumpkin and Peanut Butter Cookies for the dogs all day. For the humans, we bake Dog Bones…tasty little garlicky knots of deliciousness.
Indigo Pet Photography: Winery Barrel Room Sessions
Indigo Pet Photography is back! This year, pawsome pet photographer Karen Black will be located at Featherstone to accommodate more Winery Barrel Room Photo Sessions. Details coming soon!
